for Adults and Children
In my welcoming music studio located in the Neustadt neighborhood of Bremen, I offer a program for musical and artistic growth that combines one-on-one guitar lessons with a personalized learning approach tailored to each student's needs, goals, and skill level.
Each lesson is designed to develop technique, musicality, creativity, and a deeper understanding of the instrument in a stimulating, practice-oriented environment. Whether your goal is to start from scratch, refine your technique, or prepare for exams, concerts, or auditions, your learning path will be tailored to help you achieve it with consistency and motivation.
Through close interaction and by focusing on your individual needs, you will develop the practical skills and musical awareness needed to confidently master the guitar and the stylistic language of a wide range of musical genres, including Jazz, Pop, Rock, Blues, and Funk.

Lesson Rates
Lesson fees depend primarily on the student's individual needs, as well as the duration and frequency of the lessons. Offering fair and accessible rates is an important part of my teaching philosophy, and I am always happy to help and discuss the best solution for each student.
The standard schedule consists of four individual lessons per month: 30-minute lessons for children and 45-minute lessons for adults.

By learning the basics of the guitar, we’ll develop a more tailored programme, working together to fulfil your aspirations
In which we will aim to learn the basics of the guitar, whilst allowing time for practice at home to help consolidate what we have learnt on the instrument
With more time available, we’ll have the opportunity not only to work on the basics but also to develop our music together, creating a jamming atmosphere and focusing on your own compositions as well

I recommend weekly lessons, so as to establish a regular routine and avoid too much time passing between lessons (especially if you don’t always practise regularly at home).
There is also the option of arranging a three-month package of lessons, comprising 12 lessons (at a rate of one lesson per week) or spread flexibly over three or four months.
In one-to-one lessons, the duration often depends on the student: their motivation, their willingness to learn and their concentration.

Mindfulness is a key element of the lessons. Who wouldn’t benefit from taking a deep breath? From pausing for a moment and reconnecting with their own body? Being mindful whilst engaging with art and music helps us to look deeper within ourselves and better discover

Joel fell in love with the guitar at the age of 18 and hasn’t stopped playing it since. The guitar is his refuge, and the music that flows from it is his liberation. He honed his skills by doing, on the streets, playing, exploring, and shutting himself away in his little room for hours on end. Over the years, he has also been fortunate to study with his idols from the Italian music scene, taking private lessons with Luca Nostro at the “Percento Musica” music school in Rome, with Daniele Cordisco at the “Centro Ottava” music school in Rome, and privately with the great Umberto Fiorentino at his studio.
He is currently enrolled at the University of the Arts (HfK) in Bremen to earn a degree that will formalize his artistic skills, where he studies jazz guitar under the guidance of Andreas Wahl. At the same time, he teaches at various music schools in Bremen and the surrounding area.
With ten years of teaching experience, Joel has developed his own method, which is primarily based on listening deeply to his students, giving them the freedom to choose their own path and direction for musical growth, almost as if they were teaching themselves. Thanks to his experience and passion for the instrument, he offers his students various paths to help them achieve their goals.
